The Jolly Knot Club was formed by Christine Cantella and Jo Roderick as a way to express their creative skills through folk art. Although they split most of their time between London England and Fulton Texas, a little beach town on the Gulf Coast, they still explore their wanderlust, taking in everything around them in their travels. Cantella and Roderick share a deep love of music, pop art, nature, and all things English and Texan. All these influences are then laid down with embroidery floss, using vintage blue chambray shirts as the canvas. Christine's Dad was in the Navy and her first piece was on the back of one of his old naval uniform shirts, a tradition they want to keep. There is humor and love in each piece. "We get a huge kick out of seeing our ideas take shape, and each one we complete becomes our instant new favorite”.
