This "swamp pop" classic was written and first performed by Jean Phillip Baptiste who was working as a bellboy in Lake Charles, Louisiana in 1959. Performed over the years by the likes of Robert Plant, Iggy Pop, and Cat Power (one of my personal faves).  This necklace was hand cast from a turn of the century love token in sterling silver.  It hangs on a 20" sterling ball chain that's made in Italy.
