This solid copper horseshoe was hand cast from a 1940's gumball prize.  The horseshoe symbolizes luck and warding off bad fortune to those who wear it.  A horseshoe pointing down represents the waxing cycle from new moon to full  in the lunar cycle were the horseshoe is charging or filling itself up with luck.
It hangs on a 24" copper ball chain which is raw metal that will patina with age.
