This rusty blood red thunderbird pendant was made in the 1950's by Southwestern Artist Leona Caldwell.  She was part of the modern craft movement and the Kiva Craft Center in Scottsdale Arizona. This is an unsigned piece but was purchased directly from the family of Leona Caldwell.  
The beads in this necklace are vintage (more like antique as they are about 80 to 100 years old) and they have a beautiful patina which will only get better with age. Hand strung by us!
